Conference Finals Predictions

I know I said I wasn't going to do sports writing on this site as much, but it's sort of an emergency.

Emergency in the sense that more or less, I ran out of time to do a full breakdown on the Conference Finals, but I wanted to get my picks on record.

Miami vs. Indiana

I think that this series will be a lot closer then most people think. The Pacers have been awful for the better part of three months, but they have to turn it around sometime right?

Having home court advantage could prove huge for an Indiana team that will need to work hard to stop LeBron and co. If the Heat's role players (i.e. Chalmers, Battier, Lewis, Allen, etc.) are making threes, they'll be hard to beat.

San Antonio vs. Oklahoma City

This is the series in the Western Conference we've wanted all along. With all due respect to Golden State, Portland, and Los Angeles, these two teams are the class of the west.

Unfortunately for both OKC and for us as fans, the Thunder will be without forward Serge Ibaka. I think that will be the deciding factor in this series. San Antonio is too good offensively and even despite Westbrook and Durant being the two best players in the series, the Spurs are too deep and too good as a whole.
