My beef with Jordans

I do not understand the value of Jordan's beyond the fact that they've been trendy for 20+ years. To this day I am many things, but a shoe nerd I am not. To this day I can literally only tell maybe 5-6 pair of Jordan's by their specific name. That's lame for someone who's played basketball their whole life, I know, but I've never really understood the trend. Like I literally never look at the shoes on people's feet, ever!

Speaking of feet, since were already down there, I've also don't fully understand socks! Like why would you spend 16 dollars on one pair of socks, when you could but 6 pairs of socks for 14 dollars, minus the Nike swoosh? It's just bad business.

I am a business major at my college and I often think of things strictly in terms of money. It's a gift and a curse because it's made me a healthy combination of cheap but financially responsible as well. I pride myself on my economic decision making. Which is again, why I don't see how someone can spend  an entire rent check on two pairs of shoes!

Now, if you're rich already, by all means, spend your money. My beef comes more with people who waste the little money they have, on things they can not afford i.e Jordans, elite socks, etc.

Call me cheap, I know you will. But it's just my thoughts on the ridiculously overrated sneakers.

They are pretty cool though, so what do I know?
